The 28th edition of the International Conference on Atomic Physics will be held from July 14 to 19, 2024, at Imperial College London, UK.

We offer both in-person and online attendance options. The meeting features invited plenary presentations and contributed poster presentations on cutting-edge research in the field of atomic, molecular, and optical physics. Early registration deadline: April 1st. Abstract deadline: June 1st

    Full Delegate and Student registrations

    • Admission to all plenary sessions and exhibits at Imperial College.
    • Admission to all poster sessions.
    • The right to submit an abstract summarizing recent work, and if accepted, present it as a contributed poster. Abstract submission deadline is June 1st. Posters should be A0 portrait. Each registrant may submit only one poster abstract. There is no requirement to present a poster.
    • Access to the virtual conference platform which includes an online poster gallery.
    • Coffee breaks Monday – Friday.
    • Options to attend welcome reception, excursion, concert and conference dinner (ticketed)

    Virtual Registrations

    • Remote access to the plenary sessions through a live video stream, with the ability to ask questions through a moderated chat.
    • The right to submit an abstract summarizing recent work. Abstract submission deadline is June 1st. Each registrant may submit only one poster abstract.
    • Access to the virtual conference platform which includes an online poster gallery.
    • Interactive interaction with participants through the conference platform.

    Virtual Registrations

    All registration fees may be paid by credit card or by bank transfer. To be eligible for the standard rate, payment must be received no later than May 10, 2024. Registrations are not confirmed until payment is received in full.

    • Your registration and payment will be acknowledged via email with a confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form.
    • Bank Transfer: Bank transfer details will be sent upon request. Please include your name and the reference number. We would also appreciate your emailing a copy of the bank transfer payment to the conference secretariat, icap2024@imperial.ac.uk
    • Currency exchange charges or bank collection fees are the responsibility of the registrant.
  • CancellationPolicy

    Cancellation Policy

    Cancellations are permitted until June 10, 2024. Registrants will receive a full refund less a £100 administrative fee.  Cancellations must be submitted in writing to icap2024@imperial.ac.uk. For UK visa application denials, the cancellation policy will be extended by one month to July 10, 2024, provided you submitted your application on or before May 1, 2024. Applicants must provide proof of the visa application date, the appointment date, and the denial letter to receive a refund. Registration transfers to another person are permitted and must be submitted in writing. After these cutoff dates, we are still able to convert in-person registrations to a virtual attendance option but unfortunately are no longer able to provide refunds. Please contact us with both your registration ID and your poster abstract ID if applicable.
