Key Information

  • We will meet at the ‘Alert’ statue on Imperial campus (see number 5 on the map below, or go to https://w3w.co/quick.guitar.seated) at 9:45 am on Tuesday 16th July.
  • From here we will walk down to South Kensington station and take the tube on the District Line westbound to Kew Gardens station (using the Richmond branch of the District Line). Click here for a Google Maps route.
  • We should arrive at Kew Gardens station at ~10:40 am and will walk to the Victoria Gate entrance to Kew Gardens.
  • Here, you can purchase your entry tickets and the option of the Kew Explorer land train tour.
  • Please take your time to explore the gardens and surrounding area. Make sure to check out the Kew Gardens website for details of what to see.
  • If you are heading back to Imperial directly from Kew Gardens, the most straightforward route is back the way you came. Walk to Kew Gardens tube station and take the District Line eastbound to South Kensington. Click here for a Google Maps route.
